A Christmas Fantasy
Precious Dolls from the Lord's Toy Chest,
Enter now with me into a Christmas fantasy. Last night, as I lay upon my couch I prayed for an inspiration for today's post. The Lord in his gracious kindness did not disappoint me.
He rode into my living room upon a jolly sleigh. "Hop in, Gladys," the Lord said.
My spirit arose from my body and alighted upon the sleigh. It was comfy and vibrated with a delicious tingle, which could only be the spirit of Christmas.
The Lord held out his hands and two red balls appeared in his palms. "These are the tingle balls of Christmas. Let's drop these on all the poor slobs who need cheering up this December."
I giggled delightedly and held out my hand. The Lord dropped a ball into it, and our mission began immediately.
Throughout the night, we dropped a never-ending supply of bright-red tingle balls on all the people of the earth, and they were merry. Hallelujah!

P.S. If you substitute "tingle balls" for "jingle bells" it makes a pleasing variation in the traditional Christmas song.
